Official taxi tariff in force
Taxi prices in Madeira are set by the Regional Government (IMT, IP-RAM) in an agreement with the taxi associations. This is the tariff in force since 6 February 2026. Pre-booked transfers follow our own price table; without a booking, the taximeter applies these rates.

The minimum fare covers the first 1000 m. Waiting time: €0.10 every 30 s by day and every 25 s at night (€12.00 / €14.40 per hour; €14.40 per hour in vehicles without taxi sign).

More than 4 passengers
In 6- and 8-seat vehicles the fare is 20% higher than in 4-seat taxis.
Extra charges
Luggage and/or pets: €1.50.
Free and mandatory: pushchairs, wheelchairs, guide dogs and hand luggage up to 55×35×20 cm and 25 kg.
